New York Offshore Championship

The offshore arena just got even more exciting. The Montauk Canyon Challenge, launched in 2011, and the Hamptons Shootout, introduced in 2025, each crown their own elite Grand Champions—but for the boats bold enough to fish both tournaments, a new title awaits: New York Offshore Champion.

Using the official scoring systems from each event, we combine the points earned across both tournaments to determine the ultimate victor. The boat with the highest combined total rises above the fleet and claims the most prestigious honor in New York offshore fishing.

Along with serious bragging rights, the champion takes home a custom-crafted trophy—built to be displayed proudly.
